My bff since 2013. I knew this day would come, but it was impossible trying to get ready for it. I remember when I first brought you home, and it shocked my parents because they had initially told me no pets in the house, but I knew it was obvious from the moment I first saw you that we were gonna be best friends for life. You were the most energetic, human-acting, friendly, emotional, diva-ish, loyal, playful, curious, adventurous, steak & eggs loving, depth-defying, over-protective, loving friend I’ve ever had. I’ll never forget all of the memories, and how much of a fighter you were. Even after going blind, beating fleas and ticks (twice, so many hotspots!), a stroke that caused really bad vertigo, and then possible Alzheimer’s,, you never just laid down and gave up, you always kept fighting. All the scares you gave me when you used to somehow sneak out of the backyard and run into the street or got lost for hours in the neighborhood, I THANK GOD that you were always able to make it back home safely. I hate that we won’t be able to go on our walk anymore, or go to Bel-Nor schools field and run our daily 2 miles, or go on long car rides, or go to forest park and watch you chase everything in sight, or watch you walk over my laptop while I’m doing homework just to get a belly rub, or watch you beg for my food until I give in and share it with you, or watch you run to me for protection when it was storming outside. I wish I could hug you one more time. I feel empty right mow and I miss you so much. My Bella, my beagle mix; I appreciate you being my friend and my big baby for the last 13 years, and am grateful that you were able to live a good 14 year doggy life. I’m glad that you’re no longer suffering. 🐶🕊️😔

Thank you to everyone who looked after Bella and took great care of her while I was out of town. Cody, Tezz, Steve, Jordan, and Aunt Vickie, I appreciate you.🫶🏾💜
