One month ago, our lives changed forever.
Our baby boy didn’t come quite the way we had imagined/planned. His journey into the world was unexpected, early, and required strength. But he fought for his place here, and that strength is already written all over him.

Today, he is healthy, happy, and more loved than words could ever explain.

Motherhood has changed me in the most beautiful way. It’s stretched me, humbled me, and filled my heart in ways I didn’t even know were possible. And truthfully, I would go through every unexpected moment all over again just to have him.

The best part of me. My sweet boy.
Born 6 lbs 5 oz.
19.6 inches long.

HALFTIME: 6 MONTHS DOWN! 🤎🏈

Because apparently being 6 months old calls for a whole halftime celebration. 😂 And of course, his village understood the assignment! Custom T-shirts, jerseys, and all. Everybody came ready to celebrate our favorite little player.

One thing about our baby… his village is UNMATCHED and absolutely CRAZY about him. The amount of love that surrounds him is something we’ll never take for granted. We’re so grateful he gets to grow up knowing just how loved and celebrated he is.

And just like that… 6 months of motherhood. 🥹

These six months have been some of the hardest, most challenging, yet most rewarding months of my life. Loving my son has come easier than anything I’ve ever done.

We love him more than anything in this world, and there is absolutely nothing we wouldn’t do for him. Being his mom is the greatest privilege of my life.

Before I became a mom, I always imagined myself having a little girl first… until right before I found out I was pregnant. Somehow, my heart shifted.

Now I know why.
God knew I needed you. 💙

You’ve softened my heart in ways I never thought possible. The way your eyes light up when you see me instantly makes every hard moment disappear. Being your mommy has been the greatest blessing and the most beautiful love.

Watching you grow, hearing your little sounds, holding you close… it all feels like the kind of love people try to describe but never fully can until they experience it themselves.

I started to share my 2025 memories, but I realized nothing could ever compare to the moment that changed everything.

After months of hearing “no,” the single “yes” carried more meaning than words could hold. It was sacred. It was an answered prayer.

Baby boy, you were created with intention and wrapped in love long before we ever met you. We prayed for you, prepared for you, and trusted God with every step that led us here.

Sharing this journey with your dad has been one of the greatest joys of my life. From the very moment we learned about you, he has shown up with a depth of love, patience, and strength that continues to amaze me. He has been steady, present, and endlessly supportive. Loving us both in ways that makes me even more grateful to walk through life beside him. Watching him step so naturally into fatherhood has been one of the most beautiful things I’ve witnessed, and I already know you are going to adore him just as much as I do.

We are counting down the days until we finally get to hold you, see your face, to learn you, and to love you even more than we already do. You are so deeply wanted, so fiercely prayed over, and already so incredibly loved.

You are surrounded by a village that cannot wait to meet you. You’re coming into a world full of open arms and full hearts.
