Masters of Science in Engineering ✅ 🎓📜

I don’t share much of this side, but I’ve been keeping my head down and working hard for this. After years of sleepless nights, tears, and endless calculations … this young lady from the mountain valleys of Peru did her big one 🎓📜✅

M.S.E.

Most of you know me through the arts, few of you know that I’m also a Mathematician and now a Civil Engineering Master. In my mind, these two go together - the arts and the math that is. Shout out to MC Escher and my third grade math teacher for helping me realize that early on.

I got big plans and God on my side always!

To anyone who cared for me in this journey, via cooked meals, shared study sessions, encouraging words, I love you and I couldn’t have done it without you - genuinely.

Grateful 🤍

Also big shout out to my childhood bff for these grad pics. @thingsunsaid 🫂 taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @_krisssieee

Met the amazing @_krisssieee yesterday at @stay.greased's Touch Grass event. She, a complete stranger, offered me an orange and even offered to cut it for me. In a world with so much inhumanity, this simple act of kindness was much appreciated. In return, I came back and shared strawberries with her and her friends. #GoodVibes #BeKind #TouchGrass taken in Touch grass by @_krisssieee

04/26/26 - Boileryard Brunch

A nice gentleman and his wife approached me while I was studying for my masters during @boileryardbrunch .
They complimented my look and asked to take some pics
Who knew these would be some of my all-time favorites. If ya’ll knew the year of hustle and work I’ve had, ya’ll would be proud of me too. Not sure why I keep looking at these from 50 year old me. Let this mark the year I completed one of my biggest goals and did it with grace.

Thank you @use_both_hands
