TRICK OR TREAT?

Some of y’all are scared of ghosts, but I’m more scared of these interest rates, denials, and deposits they be asking for! 😭

Good credit opens doors, and bad credit can make things a whole lot more expensive!

Imagine paying rent all these years and not knowing that your payment history could possibly help you qualify for a home.

A lot of us have been renting for years, thinking we have to start completely from scratch when we’re ready to buy.

That’s why I wanted to share this because sometimes it’s not that we don’t have options, we just don’t know what’s available to us.

Of course, there are still requirements you have to meet, but this is definitely something worth looking into.

I’m all about sharing information that can help us make better moves financially, whether you’re ready to buy now or just planning for the future.

KYMAJ | Repair. Prepare. Grow. by @_kymaj

Let me reintroduce myself for those who may be new around here!

I’m Racquel, the woman behind KYMAJ. I wear a lot of hats, but one thing about me, I’m serious about what I’m building.

I’ve learned so much throughout this journey, and I’m still learning every single day. Every year I’m finding new ways to improve, expand, and bring more to the table. I’m not where I want to be just yet, but I’m definitely not where I started!

I love what I do, I love seeing people win, and I love being able to play a part in helping somebody get to their next level.

This is more than taxes and credit for me. I’m building something with purpose, and trust me, I’m nowhere near finished!

When she first came to me, she told me she messed her credit up when she was younger and honestly felt like it was too far gone to fix. She couldn’t get a place in her own name, and that was the part that bothered her the most.

She said, ‘I just want better for me and my kids. I want to be able to move into a better area and have something in MY name.’

Her scores were sitting in the 400s, and she was already discouraged before we even started because she felt like there was no coming back from it.

I told her we weren’t going to focus on everything at one time. We were going to take it step by step and stay consistent.

Fast forward 3 months… now we’re in the 600s 🙌🏾

And THIS is why I love what I do. She wanted a fair chance to provide a better living situation for her babies and to stop depending on other people to put things in their name to help her..

We still have work to do, but babyyyy look where we started vs where we are now. That 400 score did NOT have to be her forever.

This weekend was so relaxing and carefree…I really enjoyed myself. I got a chance to network, connect and meet so many amazing people. I learned A LOT, had some really good conversations and just took everything in.

Now it’s back to the office and time to put what I learned to work.

Definitely a weekend well spent. by @_kymaj

Shoutout to my clientttt because this is a GOOD update to get! 🙌🏾 She stayed with the process, kept going, and now she’s riding off in a new car with little to nothing down.

This is why I tell y’all don’t get discouraged when everything doesn’t change overnight. Give it time, stay consistent, and let the work start showing for you.

I love seeing my clients able to actually USE their progress. Congrats girl, enjoy that new ride! by @_kymaj
