Because its always, did you GET a good time? And never, did you HAVE a good time?!

My best times?
👟 Running with my boys
👟 The feeling of pride when I finally cracked 3km
👟 Crossing the line at my first parkrun with @mr_laneandco and @cashmn1 supporting me the whole way
👟 Hearing people cheer for my son as he finished his first parkrun
👟 The sense of accomplishment when I finally cracked 7.5km without walking breaks

For a sport I always said I'd never do, it sure has brought me a lot of joy!

2 ingredients + endless possibilities!

My personal favourite is apple + cinnamon. But why not chocolate + cherry, vanilla + blueberry, pineapple + shredded coconut. This is so easy the kids could even make it with little supervision.

All ingredients from @colessupermarkets

✨️Snacklebox Time✨️

Another roadtrip of course means more snacks! These snackleboxes are a lifesaver on long drives with the kids. Keeps them fed, they don't fight over who got more and I don't have to answer all the questions of "what can I eat?" Don't think we'll be able to do a roadtrip without them ever again!

I have no doubt my kids will still be requesting this cake when I'm 80!

✨️Sprinkle Cake✨️

Ingredients
2 cups self raising flour
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup caster sugar
125g butter
2 eggs
¾ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
long sprinkles

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and mix to combine.
Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each
Alternate adding flour and milk and mixing after each until all added.
Fold in your sprinkles. Measure with your heart
Bake at 180 celsius for 20-25 mins for cupcakes or 40-45 mins for cakes. Top should be golden and a knife should come out clean if inserted in the centre of the cake.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes in the tin before turning out onto a cooling rack. Allow to cool completely before icing. taken in Gold Coast, Queensland by @_laneandco_

The many emotions of decorating a birthday cake 😂 and a prime example of why I don't usually film the decorating process!

Confession: this giant Christmas bow from last year is still hanging up in my house!

Christmas crafts are kicking off so I thought I'd share this one I made last year. A giant christmas bow to really boost the Christmas cheer.

Christmas is all about ribbon garlands or paper chains this year and trust me when I say buy your Christmas ribbon now!

I have been hunting for velvet ribbon the last few years and always struggle to find the colours and length I need at a decent price come December. @spotlightstores currently have their Christmas ribbons on sale so its the perfect time to get prepped and stock up.

Will you be making a ribbon garlands this year? Or maybe a ribbon paper chain?

My current lunch hyperfixation and the best sandwich I've ever made:

Sourdough
Pesto
Provolone
Salami
Prosciutto
Heirloom tomato
Rocket
Balsamic glaze
@redrockdeli_aus salt + vinegar chips

Absolute perfection! Catch me with this sandwich by the ocean this summer.
