“Justice for the victims, revenge against the regime.”

“We will free ourselves from the killer regime.”

“We will not hold them accountable. We will take revenge.”

Revolution slogans I found in Badaro, Beirut 🇱🇧

The concrete walls of Beirut serve as a physical archive of grief, survival, and rebellion.

Years after the August 4 port explosion, these stenciled words remain a haunting reminder of the collective fury directed at a system that chose impunity over accountability.

A fury that eventually faded, as division and sectarianism returned to the forefront.

Lebanon lost an opportunity for real change. For a brief moment, people were united against a common enemy: a corrupt state and political class that had failed them for decades.

When the legal path to justice is systematically blocked, the streets write their own verdict and the people shout their own slogans (not their party’s). We can only hope that one day. The Lebanese people will be united again and rise up. Something that sounds more and more like an unachievable dream. An utopia in this dystopia.

One year ago today, La Propagande took its first breath at our very first pop-up at Colonel Reef, Batroun.

From our first rack to every piece that found a new home, to all the people I met along the way — the support, the love, the haters, and of course, the 3aytat from Mama.

Thank you to everyone who wore it, supported it, shared it, and believed in it.

One year down.
Still rebellious. Still raw. Still underground.

THE PROPAGANDA HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN.
