• ℕ𝕖𝕨 𝕄𝕖𝕩𝕚𝕔𝕠 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟝 •

I was privileged to be able to go to New Mexico with Bethel's nursing program this past week. Within this trip, I saw a lot of brokenness and hurt within the Navajo nation. People living in poverty, corruption, children without families, etc. I also got to witness God's beautiful creation, and His light that shines through those that follow Him. This experience was a reminder to me that there is beauty that can be found in the midst of brokenness. God is always there, and he never gives up on us no matter how dark and broken the world may get.

this past year i've grown so much. it is crazy to look back and see how much i've learned within nursing school. i'd be lying if i said it was all super easy, but i've learned that the hard moments make the good moments that much sweeter. i am so thankful to be surrounded by such amazing classmates who genuinely care about me, and want me to succeed as much as they want themselves to succeed. i am so grateful for each and everyone of them!

here are just some of the core mems of the semester:

1. our 50% cake; it is so hard to believe that we are already halfway done!!!
2. the girlies celebrating paige's 20th bday with a surprise picnic 🧺
3. supporting morgan at her softball game, she's literally such a baller 🥎
4. #alaninu getting us thro clinicals
5. peyton and her sour gummy bear addiction. she never failed to bring them to class
6. @makalynn_vaneerden and the sweet friendship she brings
7. @morgan.blubaum and I's spontaneous trip to rise n'roll to get the class donuts during SIM
8. the time where we had "zoom" for mental health and no one could take it seriously lol
