More Montpelier Greatest Hits… ❤️‍🩹

1-3) Tristan and Lydia’s garden party - one of the best days at the flat! It was Summer 2020 and we were coming towards the end of the first lockdown. Things had started relaxing ever so slightly and we now knew that outside hangouts were pretty low-risk, so this was everybody’s first dose of social time in a while. Tristan set off some flares he casually had lying around (why not!), we drank wine and played dress up, we had a very small and sensible fire which irked a nimby neighbour who called the fire brigade (the firemen agreed it was unnecessary), and later on we even saw a hedgehog. Crazy!

4-5) MONK WATCH! Attempts to reason with myself during the eviction battle were tricky, like I would sometimes try to write a pro’s and con’s list about the flat, but the pro’s list was always exponentially longer. One of the most you-gotta-be-kidding-me, couldn’t-make-it-up entries to the pro’s list was that our neighbours were Literal Buddhist Monks. Oh you want a chill nice neighbour situation? Beat that!! Fuckin Buddhist monks!!! Anyway it turned out they were actually really pedantic about parking but besides that they were pretty cool and it did make for some truly elite people watching from the kitchen window.

6) Calum with my biological daughter, Roo (Aroo, Roopy, Snoopy Roopy, Honey Badger, Baby Croissant, Lil Prawny)

7) snuggling with Reginald

8-9) window of dreams 💔

10) Holy Wave and Amy warming their butts by the fire on a cold December eve (before the landlord cut off the fireplace without telling me 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻)

11) Laura and Kyle’s visit in 2018, happily coinciding with the peak of really stupid IG filter times

12) no idea tbh, early era daft afters

13) Screensaver come to stay, Summer 2024!

14) more weird back alley people watching 👀

15) lockdown 🤷🏼‍♀️

16) Naomi’s birthday!

17) Dad took this one a couple of days before I moved out. This one makes me sad, hopefully it won’t always.

18) the other window of dreams. Many mornings turned into afternoons staring at this view from my bed 😩

Anywho back to crying!!! Xxx by @_lauren_pascal

YEAH I’m posting a 2025 recap in mid-January YEAH I’ve been busy packing and crying what you gonna do about it????? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: time is annoying and stupid and I do not care for it. BUT if we must adhere to the conventions of the Gregorian calendar (insane decision to give to a pope?), I would say that 2025 had a lot of stress and horrible bits interspersed with various nice bits, as you can see here. I will also say that I think 2026 will be the year that I exact my revenge by @_lauren_pascal

finally updated my linktree so you can hear my @0800disco mix as well as my mix for @inthewindow___ !! link in bio go give em a spin 🔗🌳

what an honour it was getting to play the almighty hope house @c0smicsl0p soundsystem and throw shapes with these gorgeous people 🥲💖🪩 (hot tip: i DJ'd first and the room was empty when i started, so as you can see my mix gets progressively louder! this is Good Actually and evidence that i was Setting The Levels Correctly, but may make for dramatic listening at home lol sorry... maybe just go with it and really party hard as the mix progresses?)

also such a delight to do a mix for In The Window, played some of my absolute faves so i hope you like it too! 🤗

i am just throwing this out there into the universe and hoping for the best: PLEASE let me DJ more fun dance parties/festivals/nice things please, i love it so much and i actually sort of know what i'm doing now 🧐

Looking forward to this on Sunday! So excited to DJ for a non-dancefloor setting - using this as an excuse to curate some music a bit more radio-style 💖 expect lots of personal faves and sunny hangover afternoon vibes 🤠 pop down for a coffee at Vinyl Whistle and say hello if you like, and in the meantime check out all the other cool DJs that have graced the @inthewindow___ decks if you’re looking for some living room boogie inspiration. Side note I miss doing radio a lot so if someone can help me do that again please hmu 🙏🏻 by @_lauren_pascal

TEXAS SPAM INCOMING! expect more where this came from sorry!!!!

well, after 10 long years i finally made it back to my home from home, and it was extremely trippy and surreal to be dropped back into that world after so much time and so much change, to still find it every bit as magical and special as my wide-eyed 20-something self believed it to be. it feels conflicting and strange to have had this incredible dreamy time in the states when there is so much to feel utterly sickened by - lots of fear and heavy conversations in amongst a lot of joy. i don’t know how to make sense of the senseless but this trip will stick with me for a long time. will never be able to put into words how grateful i am to have met @a_heart_so_true and @baroque_shawty and all the amazing, cool, kind, fun, welcoming friends that have always looked after me, fed me, driven me around and made fun plans with me - i don’t know what i did to deserve it and all my thoughts on it feel vague and insufficient in light of all the persisting horrors, but it would be nice if everyone got to experience such love and care and joy in their lives. brimming with gratitude and hope i can pour some of this energy into good things ❤️
