Big Mulloway smacking a hardbody off the top. How’s the head shakes.
When this fish ate it all happened very quickly. We weren’t even sure the shot was in frame. It was fluke timing. We went back to camp to review what we had shot and needless to say… our jaws hit the floor.
You couldn’t buy this shot for a million bucks, and we’ll remember this day for a long time.
This footage is a small part of a 20 minute film we created while chasing these mesmerising fish. It’s called ‘The Greatest One.’ Available on the TFI website if you’re keen.

Total setup cost me about $7000.
The goal for this build was to do it as cheap as possible which I think we achieved.
Needed to be able to stealth camp hence avoiding the rooftop tent option.
Full length bed with plenty of storage and power. Ready for off grid missions without having to drop 30+ grand on a canopy setup
We will look to add fly screens for the warmer months
Few more tweaks to be made but super stoked with the base layout by @_less_ordinary_
