Tacos are the new matcha over at @taqueriasinnombre.melbourne

Last November, we got surprise gay married at Chic2Chic, surrounded by loved ones. Thank you to CJ for being our celebrant, putting together a special ceremony in between your bartending duties. Thank you to Emily for helping plan and DJ’ing our fav songs. Thanks to Liz for making the Bouquet, and thanks to everyone that came to support us last minute. It was the perfect shotgun wedding. It came at a time when the entire political landscaping was changing, and we were all quickly losing hope. In times of despair, we seek out little bits of joy, glimmers of hope. With Elysia, I’m grateful I find those little pockets everyday. Loving you is easy. So, I wanted to share a lil dose of what we all need, now more than ever, the world needs more queer joy. 💌 by @_lfreeman

Just wanna reflect on a few things from the last few months about my time being back in Los Angeles…
I’m really grateful for my various forms of family/community here; loved ones, old friends, new friends, Echo Bark, music, safe spaces, queer resources, etc that have helped me heal and grow. I knew I had it good before I left. But when you get so comfortable in situations, sometimes you can lose sight of yourself and gratitude for those things. Thank you to everyone that’s helped support me, asked me if I need help, and or given me creative opportunities. Y’all’s kindness speaks volumes!
And im v grateful to @_citrusbby for pushing me to move back and keeping me grounded, supporting my goals and joining me on this wild ride that is life.
It’s been a big year for most folks, especially the last couple of weeks. Next year there’s even more big changes coming. If you are scared, mad, frustrated, indifferent…. Now is the time to reframe that energy and put it towards better use. Get involved, put your words of frustration into action!

8 days before I leave melby so I put together one last goodbye party with the Dingo fam. I’d love to cook for my friends one last time 🥹
Ladies, Honky’s and Tonky’s…. I GIVE YOU…

Serving up our diner brekky favs alongside past dingoes that have gone on to build their own businesses. Crispy Chilli Oil from @sixeyedscorpion and the most beautiful sourdough bread from the hottest new micro bakery in northcote @marimaribakery

Menu still tbd a lil bit-
Stack of pancakes (vegan)
Egg n cheese Biscuit Sandwiches with hot crispy chilli honey (pictured above ⬆️)
Sourdough French Toast Sticks (think Burger King in the 90’s)
Some form of potato will be served !

If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard already that I’m moving back to Los Angeles and that @varsitycheerleadr are playing our final show here in Naarm April 27th, the front bar at the Tote, 3-6pm. With Allstar babes @sianstaceyy!

I just wanna say that I’m really grateful for my bandmates and this time we got to share together. Taking this project from me solo (because I didn’t want my name to be attached to my song writin) to a full fledged band filled with 3 mates. We accomplished some great things together and played some unreal shows here in melby. Thank you to Bek, James and Laura and for our final show, thanks to Tam for filling in on drums! And thank you guys for always making it fun.

I learned a lot about being a bandmate and the music industry over these past 5 years. I’m excited to see what the future holds for me. Music was my first unrequited love, I never wanted to fully commit myself to it for fear of failure. For awhile after Covid I just accepted that was it and my time was up. But as much as I try to stay away, I find myself coming back to it for comfort and community.
So, I’m no longer talking myself out of doing music cause of self doubt. I don’t know what I want to do but here’s to me saying yes to future opportunities.

Lastly, thanks to everyone that has ever supported one of my creative endeavors. Y’all kept me going with this stuff when I would talk myself out of it, time and time again. If you’ve ever come to one of my shows, bought a piece of merch, or just messaged me that you liked a song. I’m only saying all this to hold myself accountable this time. Thank you!

Happy Birthday baby!
I’m honored to be swinging around the Sun with you. You’ve shown me a lot of love in ways I didn’t know how to show like self care and listening to our bodies. You have an expansive way of showing it like your willingness to help others. In an unfortunate turn of events you stepped up for me and Frank and your actions really spoke volumes.
