Reece is a perfect example that you don’t need a perfect schedule to make progress—you need consistency.

He’s a full-time dad, a successful entrepreneur running his own business, and has a day-to-day schedule that stays BUSY.

But regardless of what he has going on, he continues to find a way to check his boxes, stay consistent with the plan, and keep pushing toward the results he wants.

No excuses. No waiting for life to slow down. Just controlling what he can control and stacking days.

And the results are showing. 💪🏼

Proud of the work you’ve put in so far, Reece. We aren’t done yet! 📈

4 weeks of progress with @gtrailey 🤝

Minimal changes have been made, and we are down roughly 7 lbs (looks like a hell of a lot more). Body is recomping very nicely here at the start, and food has increased roughly 200 calories per day since we started.

Show-day packing starts with a checklist.

Use the organizer’s current instructions to list what you need. Group check-in documents, stage clothing and personal essentials, then tick each item off as it goes into the bag. Put your check-in time and location with the list.

Make the checklist before your next show, then check it with your coach. Save this for prep week.

A new exercise needs a job.

If a training clip makes you want to add another curl, ask which goal it serves and how it fits the arm work already in your program. Bring that question to your coach before adding sets just because the exercise looks interesting.

Pick one exercise you are curious about and write down why. Save this for the next routine you see online.

Posing practice includes the transitions.

Choose two poses from your routine and rehearse moving from one to the next. Record the full sequence so you can see the foot placement and reset that a still photo misses. Work on one transition cue from your posing coach.

Add a short transition practice to your next session. Which transition needs your attention?

A useful form video needs a clear view.

For example, a squat filmed with your feet out of frame leaves part of the movement unseen. Ask your coach which angle they need, place the phone securely, and check that your body and equipment stay visible throughout the rep.

Record a short test clip before the set you want reviewed. Save this for your next form check.

A busy gym needs a clear backup.

If the machine in your program is often occupied, ask your coach which alternative fits that exercise’s purpose. Write the agreed option beside it before your next session, so the decision is ready when the equipment is busy.

Choose one exercise that regularly gets delayed and arrange its backup. Save this before your next gym visit.

Rest is part of the session.

If your program calls for two minutes between working sets, start a timer when the set ends instead of guessing or scrolling. Use the interval set for that exercise in your plan.

Check the rest instructions before your next workout. Save this as your reminder to use the timer.

Give busy days a backup meal.

Being busy doesn’t have to mean going off plan. Pack a meal ahead of time that you can bring with you and eat wherever the day takes you.

That could be a prepped meal like ground beef, rice, and vegetables that you can microwave, or something that doesn’t need to be heated like rice cakes, yogurt, granola, and fruit.

The goal is simple: don’t wait until you’re hungry and short on time to figure out what you’re going to eat. Plan ahead, pack it, and take the decision out of the moment.

Save this for your next busy week.
