2022 I had the opportunity to change my callcenter day job during my studies to a animation studio job at blaue Pampelmuse, Leipzig. I was trusted and given the chance to work on this show - I boarded till 2023 all of the 13 Episodes together with the support of my director and other bosses feedback. I learned how to storyboard in this studio and found my love for animation again.

I decided then and there; I want to do this for the rest of my life.

Sadly, it’s been since I went freelance in 2024 dry. But I wanted to take this moment, now that all of the episodes are out, to show a comparison from board to final, as the team did such a wonderful job in producing this show for Kikas Sandmann.

Since this was my first Gig ever and it has been roughly 3 years, natuarlly this isn’t my skill level anymore. But it’s great to see how far I have come in my skillset. Not without help which Im also grateful for.

You can find all the episodes eventually here or at certain times 8 pm at the Sandmann Show from KiKa.

Small thing. :)
That was a hilarious moment. And I actually had lots of fun designing Agony, Enmity and Cruelty from the few descripotions.

Poor tyranny though! Having sisters isn't easy.

Part 2 of my crew chat sketches from #monstermia at studio @arxanima from 2 years ago

One of my favorite characters to board was the one and only Prof. Zimzala! How can you not love her? She is silly, super cool looking and a monstrous fun character.
