we loved our girl scout (cumann na mBan 😌?) drag as we explored Dublin’s quare past x

thanks so much to @lily.bailie.studio‘s brilliant work, which brought archive queer history to the forefront. Both Hana & Emma's sashes are unique (we each chose 20 different badges from @han.tiernan's own collection!!!) for Lily to screen print. Dream collaboration - still not over it.

@_lina0000_’s fabulous eye for vintage queer couture (see: lots of flannel) was essential to bringing our cast back to 1985.

Thank you so much to our incredible costume team – @lily.bailie.studio and @_lina0000_ both knocked it out of the park ✨✨✨ by @_lina0000_

PUNK FRIDAY returns to Carrick-on-Shannon for its third instalment on Friday 3 April, with a fresh roster full of noise and catharsis — curated once more by Lina Lambert.

Now in its third year, PUNK FRIDAY at The Dock has become a showcase for the best of both local and national punk and grunge with a night of all-frills punk, high energy sets, and chaotic live performance.

Psych‑rock collective Bad Mothers Union @badmothersunion bring their DIY punk ethos and high‑volume blowouts, while Mark + Luke @mark_and_luke add hyperactive, scrappy anthems from the Irish underground circuit. Sligo unit priest @priestband rounds out the bill with a raw, unpredictable edge

A new addition, The Continuity Céilí Band, bring a menagerie of messy, rowdy, gay, political Irish social dancing to round out a night of high‑energy music.

The bands take to the stage from 7pm. A quiet space will be available for visitors, and a food truck will be available on the night.

Tickets are €15 and available now via the Events 🔗 in bio, or through the Box Office at 071 965 0828.

Choose to shave off your eyebrows, choose to go blonde, choose a job, choose another job, choose going to way way too many gigs and getting sleep deprivation from it, choose college, choose getting a tattoo, choose getting another tattoo, choose never going to Wetherspoons again (heavy on this), choose friends, choose to start a band, choose getting hugs from sweaty band guys, choose reading at least three books, choose going to an after party with Fontaines dc, choose buying hats, choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers, choose life! by @_lina0000_
