I’m in constant pursuit of fashioning hope in art and in life. Not the pollyanna kind but the one built in action and on determination. This is a year full of many big changes for me and I’m aiming to greet them with vitality 🌱
Turn, Turn, Turn is my show currently up at @craignairinn where you can see botanical images from many of the seasons and plants through their virulent phases of life. I hope you’ll stop in for a look and for a bite @causewayatcraignair and perhaps a stroll on the @maine_coast_heritage_trust Clark Island preserve ☀️ This is one of my favorite areas along the coast.
The show is up through November 18th and 10% of proceeds go directly to @newhopemidcoast, our community domestic abuse resource center. 🙌🏻 💜🧡

This weekend was so special ~ speaking with amazing and talented women on a panel as part of the exhibition “Women in Print: A Celebration of Works on Paper” @mmpagallery. What an honor and dream! I’m still pinching myself. And to enjoy it with special friends, a gift. 💕✨💐

The rainbow of hues in my sweetpeas this summer has me thinking about F R I E N D S H I P and our varying selves. Each and all of us bring value and light to our relationships in equal measure as we show our softness or bold contrast or two tones varying day to day or hour to hour. “Justification” was selected by juror Jessica Roscio for the New England Collective XVI show. Thank you Jessica! 💛 show is up through August 31st at @galateafineart in Boston!
I feel I had a wee bit of justification for missing the opening as we had a glorious few days camping on Hermit Island. What a dream! Private beaches aren’t a guarantee but we hit it just right this beautiful day! 💙

An exhibition of dreamy, imaginative, and contemplative artworks in a wide range of mediums by 50 of our member artists. This is going to be a great show ~ hope to see you at the Bangor library on Thursday.

💛 This week I found a yellow goat’s beard in a nearby field and was so excited! I’ve been looking for one for several years “in the wild” and nearby my house so I could make photos. The seed heads are nearly 3” across and look like they are made with gold threads.
Spending time in awe soothes my heart so I’m feeling very grateful ☺️

I just popped in to @jessietobiasdesign shop in Camden and found my mini prints! Thank you Kat and Jessie for featuring local Maine artists and makers ✨🙏🏻🥰
If you haven’t been in recently, piles of new home goods, clothing and art have been added. You can’t miss this shop on Bayview Street with these gorgeous summer window boxes 😍🌱 surely a jewel of the Maine Coast 🤍 taken in Camden, Maine by @_lmossel_
