Theater 1/75 (?) (for this first part of tour)

We literally just got done with the theater tour for @gabbysdollhouselive at The Terrace Theater in Long Beach and I feel like I’m a junior in college again. A half a year ago, I wouldn’t have thought I’d be back doing this; hopping from theater to theater, surrounded by a team filled with passion, dedication, and love for the art we’ll be putting on. Bringing theater joy to not only thousands of children nationwide in the seats, but joy to our inner children who come back time and time again to sit in the magic of the job that we’ve all decided to pursue. I’ve wanted to live in New York City since I was 6 years old.
•
The #1 spot on my bucket list at that age was to hail and ride in a taxi in New York City. When I was in 4th grade, I sang “New York, New York” in a talent show, with my little sister as “The Big Apple” and her friend as The Statue of Liberty. I went to college in New Jersey, where I had a perfect view of the city skyline from my freshman dorm window. When I was a junior in college, I rode the bus into the city every day to rehearse for my first national tour. And here I am now; nearly 24 years old, a college graduate, an uncle to a beautiful baby boy, riding in a taxi cab that I hailed to my first New York City apartment with a suitcase, a carry on, and a backpack. Grown up Logan is playing it cool and collected. 6 year old Logan is playing “New York, New York” in our headphones. taken in New York, New York by @_loganjohn_
