Where do I even begin, my beautiful Vinnie-Jay?
It feels like only yesterday that I found out about you. Seeing those two pink lines appear on the pregnancy test was one of the most frightening, overwhelming, nerve-wracking, yet exciting moments of my life. My whole body went into shock. At just 19 years old, I had to make the biggest decision of my life—to step up and become your mum.
I had always dreamed of being a mum, but I never imagined it would happen when it did. Looking back now, I wouldn’t change a single thing. You turned my world upside down in the most incredible way, and you gave my life a purpose I never knew I needed.
I honestly don’t know where I would be without you, Vin. You have saved me in more ways than you’ll ever understand.
Being a parent isn’t easy, and being a single parent for the past year has been the hardest journey I’ve ever faced. There have been days when I felt like giving up, but every time I looked at your little face, you reminded me why I had to keep going. You have been my strength, my light, and my rock through my darkest moments.
I am the luckiest mummy in the world to call you my son. Watching you grow into the most loving, kind, cheeky, handsome, and funniest little boy fills my heart with so much pride. I can’t wait to continue watching you grow and achieve everything your future holds.
Never forget how deeply you are loved. No matter how old you get, you will always be my baby, my greatest blessing, and the best thing that has ever happened to me.
I love you more than all the money in the world, more than words could ever say, and more than you’ll ever truly know.
