DISTRACTIONS

‘DISTRACTIONS’ follows a photographer setting up camp one night, ready to observe and document wildlife in the nocturnal hours. As the sun sets, an
extraterrestrial figure starts to emerge in the distance - is it human? Is it an animal? Is it nature? The photoshoot unveils his findings...

Our imagery personifies the many overwhelming feelings experienced in the first year of being in the creative industry. Constantly navigating the waves of imposter syndrome, feeling like an alien in many rooms, absorbing what’s around us and learning in real time; an ‘adapt or die’ approach to litterally anything and everything. It’s finding yourself in the weirdest of spaces, familiar things morph into uncanny versions of itself and you’re watching your every step.

Special thank you to Olli who ignited the concept of our shoot after our many conversations over the year about art, textiles, fashion, camping and event photography ✨

$✨I PREFER YOU FLAWED - Chosen to screen at the @britishfilminstitute in collaboration with @tagagencyuk and @five__fold ✨ - After a messy night out, Ash and Cleon’s relationship begins to fracture when an offhand comment about opening things up ignites a tense, intimate confrontation. Over the course of one claustrophobic night, buried insecurities surface - testing whether their fight is about staying together, or finally being seen. Coming soon. So so incredibly proud to have been the stylist for this short film, with the most gorgeous crew. 🫶🏽✨ CAST Ash: @j_caesar_ Cleon: @levifatz CREW Written and Directed by: @itsnayansharma Producer: @anilkgili Producer: @mattshowreal 1st AD: @katiemdryan Director of Photography: @ollyworrell Camera Operator: @mattshowreal Steadicam Operator: @ashlwli Focus Puller: @abililyjones Clapper Loader: @euanbusby Gaffer: @isaacha11 Sound Recordist: @jamie_raygun Intimacy Coordination: @ferriselliot Performance Coach: @chaiyancham Runner: @saramccutcheonn Runner: @izzyturnerr Production Designer: @erle_pettersen Designer Assistant: @rosanna.thomson Artwork: @bl.ilyes Costume Designer: @_luciaperrygreene Hair & Makeup: @makeup.by.emilyra Hair & Makeup: @nerjs_isbored POST PRODUCTION Editor: @tomrbond Colourist: @cwivver Graphic Designer: @abbysjpegs Music Composer: @zaydssultan Music Composer: @nickzb8 Sound Design & Mixer: @cheesuscharlie Sound Mixer: @manavk97.
