I am completely overwhelmed by God’s faithfulness through @thethornofficial tour. Thank you, Lord, for guiding my steps onto this path and for the honor of walking it alongside some of the most gifted, gold-hearted people I’ve ever known. Looking back at the 11,750 miles traveled across 2 countries, 17 states, and 37 cities, I’m reminded that these talents and gifts were never ours to keep—they were lent to us to tell Your story.

From the 83 shows performed, to the 249 airbrush sessions, and the 2,000+ prayers, high fives, fist bumps, and hugs shared along the way, every moment was an opportunity to witness Your grace. To see over 5,000 children sponsored through Compassion International and 160,000 audience lives impacted is a testament to Your work through us. Thank you for every door opened and every heart reached. To God be the glory for the miles behind us and for the gift of this journey. 🕊️💙 by @_lucyspring_

My heart is heavy trying to process the loss of a light as bright as Raymond. It’s difficult to grasp how a heart attack could take someone with such a vibrant, active lifestyle.

Through thousands of miles and countless cities, he prioritized our cast’s safety on his 60-seater bus each day, navigating with his signature three-point turns, spirited honks, and endless patience for our noisy cast dance and karaoke nonsense. His enthusiasm, love, and support for The Thorn were unmatched — he wasn’t just our driver, he was our biggest cheerleader.

His love for his wife and five kids was so evident. I know how much he was counting down the days to be back in their arms. While my heart breaks that he didn’t get that homecoming with his kids, I am so grateful he was able to spend those final moments with his wife.

Raymond, I’ll see you in every white coach bus and every sporty sneaker I pass. You are already deeply missed, and we are lifting up your wife and children in prayer as they walk through this unimaginable time.

One of the most meaningful moments of our lives — Sean and I were baptized together last week! 🤍✝️ Surrounded by both of our families and The Thorn cast and crew, we felt an overwhelming sense of love and support. Thank you so much, Jim Miles, for making this possible. It has truly been the highlight of this tour!

“For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.”
