I’m Madison! I AM technically new to marketing. But I am NOT new at making people cry for a living.

17 years as a wedding photographer & 4 years running a kids’ art studio. Turns out people don’t buy products. They buy a feeling. I’ve been selling feelings since before it was a “marketing thing.”

Nobody hired me for “6 hours of wedding photos for $2,700.” They hired me for the rush of memories they feel from a photo that’s been in a frame on the bookshelf for the last decade. Nobody hired me for an art class. They hired me for the confidence that would grow in the painfully shy kid who finally said “well what if I tried doing it THIS way instead” without thinking twice.

Now I do the same thing, but for your business. Same instinct, fewer tears (maybe?), more clarity and ease for you.

The businesses that win aren’t louder. They’re clearer. They’re not selling a thing, they’re selling who you become because you bought it. None of that happens by accident — it’s planned, on purpose, by me, often before 9am, while YOU are already three kids deep into school drop off and have not yet once thought about what clothes you’ll swap into from your bathrobe, let alone what the heck you’re going to yap about on Instagram today.

I know… you’re crazy busy. That’s why I plan, film, design, edit and post most of the content for you. But the other 10% that’s your “content homework”, it’s so clearly laid out it would actually take you more effort NOT to do it. 😉 Ahhh. Sweet relief.

Most small business owners are doing it all, exhausted, with a website that hasn’t been touched since 2022, an email list that has cobwebs on it, and a content calendar that exists only in theory. Actually, no. There is no theory. But you have a theory about having a theory - I know. Your intentions are good, but good intentions aren’t the same as good action.

And it actually isn’t a discipline problem. It’s just a ✨system✨ problem. So I built one.

I get it. Putting yourself out there for your business can make you so anxious you’d rather reorganize the entire pantry than post to stories… especially when you know people in your social circle will see it, and maybe even judge you.

But hear me out for a second… you aren’t running your business for them. You’re running your business to serve your clients, and people don’t really connect with the business that plays it safe. They connect with the person that shows up like they actually believe in what they’re doing.

YOU and your unique lived experience are what make your business different from the rest. If people can’t see your personality and connect with it, there’s nothing keeping them from buying from someone else. You’re allowed to take up space online and let your real personality show while you do it.

If I can do it in a fake mustache, you can post about your business in a normal Thursday outfit.

If you’re ready to flex as hard as Hulk Hogan for your business, we can do just that. I mean, WWE Cat Fight placed third in the annual Pet Parade, so I’m clearly very qualified.

First content day with the McNeills (and if these are just the outtakes, imagine what gorgeous shots actually made the cut.)

What I love about filming with Meri Beth & Jess of @jamspreadfarm is watching them build something their kids will actually want to inherit.

They’re growing their specialty peanut butter business their way, on their land, with their kids right there in the middle of all of it. Time with the McNeill’s is equal parts wholesome and humorous.

We’ve spent the last two months hard at work building their marketing strategy, and you’ll start seeing their new content roll out November 1.

Stay tuned 🥜 It gets nutty! by @_madisonmarkets

Okay, confession: People often say I work some serious magic, but it’s not actually witchcraft.

It’s strategy, a camera, an eye for design, systemizing the process, and the kind of stubborn belief that keeps you building something before anyone else can see it.

When I started Madison Markets, it was an idea and a whole lot of “what if.” To be honest, I really just needed a big girl job that was flexible enough for me to pick my kid up from school at 2:45 every day. Now? I get to spend my days with small business owners I genuinely love, helping them get clear on their message, show up online like they mean it, and watch real customers walk through their doors.

Some days I still can’t believe this is my actual job, but I don’t question the magic. I just keep showing up.

If your marketing feels like it needs a little enchantment, the Marketing Makeover is where the spell begins.

DM me “MAGIC” and we can turn the vision you have for your business into reality.

$Let’s chat for a sec… A social media manager manages your socials. A marketing strategist builds your marketing plan. A creative… creates. Those are three totally separate roles. And great marketing? Happens to need all three. But that doesn’t mean you have to hire three different people to have all three working for your business. Photography, video, design and copy aren’t decorative extras “added on” after your marketing strategy is done. They’re the actual material your marketing is made out of. In big companies, entire creative departments exist to support the marketing department. But around here? One hire gets you all three. Imagine a world where your marketing strategist also manages your socials and happens to have an art degree + 17 years of professional photography experience. It’s me, hi. I’m the solution, it’s me. 👋 Three roles. One person. And did I mention it comes at a fraction of the cost of hiring all three. This is what happens when the person doing your marketing strategy and managing your socials also knows how to create the assets your marketing needs. Your marketing is only as good as your creative. by @_madisonmarkets$

🍽️ Highlights from the 37th Annual Taste of Sumter. We’ll see ya next year! Dang, that was good! by @_madisonmarkets

Today we stopped by Roman Oven Pizzeria, where the pizza is served buffet-style and the personality is served literally everywhere. 🍕🎨

We talked to Hannah, who showed us some of her favorite things around Roman Oven: her favorite piece of artwork, her favorite table (they’re all customized), and most importantly, her favorite pizza — the cheeseburger pizza. 🤤

My personal favorite? The salad bar. 🥗

Roman Oven is known for its eclectic, artsy vibe, and there really isn’t a corner of the restaurant that’s been left untouched. Paint, custom artwork, quirky collections, string lights — there’s always something to look at while you grab another slice.

We hope you’ll join us THIS THURSDAY at the

Motivation is unreliable. That’s true in fitness, and it’s REALLY true when you own a business.

Business ownership pretty much guarantees there will be weeks when you’re busy, overwhelmed, uninspired, or simply do not feel like marketing yourself.

The problem is, marketing is way too consequential to depend on whether or not you’re “feelin’ it” that week.

Marketing is what keeps your business visible. It brings new customers in and keeps existing customers coming back. And when it disappears every time life gets busy, eventually your sales notice.

That’s why I’m a big believer in sticking with the plan, not your mood.

I learned that lesson while changing my own life. Now I use the exact same philosophy in my work with small business owners: build the plan, create the rhythm, adjust when you need to, but stop starting from scratch every time motivation disappears.

And if you’d rather somebody else build AND run that plan for you, I think I just heard you say
