I can hold a grudge like no other…

I rarely forgive, and I never forget when someone has wronged me.

I know revenge isn’t a virtue…

But I must admit, there’s a certain satisfaction in making sure some actions don’t go unpunished.

One of Epictetus’ teachings radically changed my life:

“Accept what is beyond your control.”

I learned to distinguish between what is within my power and what isn’t. (Illness, other people’s choices, death…)

I never waste my energy trying to control the uncontrollable, and this mindset has helped me overcome some incredibly hard times.

I have almost zero tolerance for men.

My dad is an exceptional man, incredibly intelligent, and someone I deeply admire. He’s always been my rock, so I’ve never felt the need to look elsewhere for what I already have in him.

Without even realizing it, I compare the men I meet to him, and very few ever measure up.

Which is why I have no problem dropping them so easily. 😂

In my early twenties, I used to pretend I was confident.

But the more I acted like that self-assured woman, the more I actually became her.

And it’s probably one of the best pieces of advice I could give another woman: fake it until you make it!

My friends sometimes call me out for not taking their problems seriously enough.

I have a bad habit of comparing their struggles to my own experiences and downplaying situations that genuinely matter to them.

This can make me less than comforting when someone comes to me for support.

It’s a real flaw, and something I genuinely want to work on. by @_madmoisel

The two butterflies tattooed on my arm are for my two older sisters.🦋🦋

Eminem basically taught me English. I’d listen to his songs, look up the lyrics and translate every single one into French.

I’m a sleepwalker. I walk, run and even eat in my sleep. I once ran straight into a wall and ended up with 4 stitches on my chin.
