This Christmas season has looked so different than I expected it to look four days ago. Saturday my daddy was taken from this world far too soon. Myself and my entire family are all completely distraught. I don’t believe it. I refuse to believe my daddy will never see me graduate high school in a few short months. Or even one day walk me down the aisle. The closest he got was escorting me for homecoming court, which I will never forget. My daddy is the greatest man I know. God has really blessed me with the most wonderful father that I could have been given. Friday night I found the song I wanted to be our daddy daughter dance song at my wedding one day. And I’ll never get to tell him. I’m always told that I am a spitting image of my dad, and he would always laugh and say that I got my good looks from him. I could sit here and write a whole book about him. But the moral of this is hug your loved ones. Make sure they KNOW how much you love them and appreciate them. This life is so cruel and unfair that you will never ever know when the last time they will hear it is. I miss you beyond words dad. I love you to the moon and stars. And I promise to make you proud, and be everything you dreamed I’d be. But I’ll always be your little girl. 💚 by @_maggiewrightt
