March 8th at 5:24pm I said my final goodbye to my sweet perfect mommy. My biggest fear has always been losing you. Now, my biggest fear is having to live this life without you. My heart is shattered, the pain felt this past week is something I will never be able to shake, but I would do it all over again as it is the price we pay to love so much. Watching you struggle to take your last breaths, I was there for every moment. Mommy, I was so incredibly scared; all I wanted was to hold you and take all your pain away. But I knew in these hardest moments I had to be brave as I knew how strong you have always been for me. You are my best friend, my favourite human; I have never felt more connected to someone, and I never will. Momma in sickness you showed strength and in sadness you showed happiness. You are and will always be the strongest person in my universe. I love you deeply, it feels like there should be a new love created just for our special bond. I will never be silenced about our love and your everlasting impact on my life. We truly did everything together. You are my forever and always, our souls are the same. Everything I do throughout my life is to honour you. I love you with every fibre of my being my bubba.
