Thank you 2025🤍 by @_manda_r0se_

Yesterday our sweet girl Zeppy crossed over the rainbow bridge🌈

It’s hard to find the words… she wasn’t “just a cat.” She was our family. Our little girl who chose us long before we ever realized how much we needed her.
Zeppy started as a barn cat who lived beside my very first apartment after moving out on my own. Every day, she’d hear my car pull in and walk with me down the driveway like she had always been part of my life. When winter came, we brought her inside for warmth, food, and a little love. Somehow that small act turned into a bond I can’t explain. She chose us, and we chose her. ❤️
Trevor and I were just starting our relationship then. We listened to a lot of Led Zeppelin…which is how our girl got her name. And when we moved in together in 2021, leaving her behind wasn’t even a question. We gave her a home. She just wanted love, and we gave it to her. And she gave it right back. She wasn’t a cat who sat on a windowsill watching the world pass by….she lived it. Zeppy traveled with us through 48 states and two Canadian provinces. She loved RV life. She’d lie on the bed watching the world roll by as we drove, and the second we parked, she was ready to explore…roll in the dirt, lay in the sun, eat grass like it was her job. The outdoors was her happy place, and she made every campsite feel like home.
My sweet girl, you have been the light of my life and a peace through all the roads of my adulthood. Your white fur and those calico patches that looked like they were painted just for you, you brought so much beauty into our world. Our little home on wheels always felt complete because you were in it.
You fought skin cancer on your nose for years. We knew the risks, but we also knew how much you loved the sunshine…and we weren’t going to take away the thing that made you happiest. You held on long enough for all of us to say we visited the lower 48 together. Zeppy, you lived a life filled with sunshine and adventure… with dirt under your paws, wind in your whiskers, and love…so so much love. You made our little family complete.
We will love you forever, our brave, wild, sun chasing Zeppy girl.
Thank you for choosing us.
Thank you for being ours. 🤍🐾 by @_manda_r0se_

Three years.
48 states.
443 days on the road.
29 National Parks.
31 State Parks.
5 National Historic Parks.
3 National Monuments.
30,000 miles of memories. ✨🚐💚

When Trevor was younger he dreamed of buying a little Volkswagen van after college and taking off to California….long before he ever knew me. He’s always had that exploring heart, the kind that sees a map and feels a pull.
And me? I knew early on that I didn’t want to climb the corporate ladder, wait until retirement and then start living. I wanted to experience life NOW, while we were young, while our bones still felt strong, while the world felt big and possible. We didn’t have a mortgage or kids, so one day we looked at each other and said, “Why not now?”
So in 2022, we bought our RV… and everything changed. Since then, we’ve lived on the road part-time. Chasing sunsets, collecting National Park stickers, getting lost on purpose, waking up in new states, meeting the kindest strangers, and learning more about ourselves and each other through every mile.
This chapter has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. It shaped us. It grew us. It bonded us. It gave us stories we’ll tell our kids someday and memories we’ll hold onto forever.
And now… we’re not saying goodbye to travel. Not even close. We’re just saying…. “see you later”while we shift into another exciting chapter……planning our wedding for next June. If we traveled this year the way we normally do, it would’ve gotten in the way of all the planning, appointments, and details we want to be present for.
But the RV isn’t going anywhere, and neither is our wandering spirit. This is just a pause, not an ending. The road will always be there waiting for us…..and we’ll be back. 💛🌄🚐✨ by @_manda_r0se_

Highly recommend this park during November 🍂🌉🌲🍁🥾
