This winter I was invited by @kristaliadesign and @stormostudio to create my own interpretation of the BCN stool designed by @studioharrypaul

I explored the relationship between two seemingly distant concepts: technical performance and comfort.

The project stems from the idea that comfort is not necessarily about softness or passivity. Sometimes, comfort is trust. It’s knowing you can rely on something without even thinking about it.

A stool, an ice wall and a high-stakes situation become a way to tell the story of a design that is essential, precise and surprisingly comfortable.

Excalibur is undoubtedly the most aesthetically striking icefall in the Serrai di Sottoguda. Three closely linked pitches shape an exemplary line, visually flawless in its vertical sweep. Through the lens of the camera, I studied the climbers’ gestures, the light and the atmosphere that permeates this valley, poised between historical memory and physical performance.

Desire Lines. 2025 – Ongoing. This project explores the gap between imposed space and lived space, where body deviates and rewrites the map. The first chapter includes a photographic work where me and @marcoguberti investigates the condition of Serie B basketball players, figures suspended between amateurism and professionalism, navigating an unstable and unresolved territory. Far from the epic of competition, we created images like a melancholic fiction, where the body becomes fragile, fragmented, multiplied. Stripped of the ball, action transforms into a symbolic gesture: basketball emerges as a space of love and conflict, an exercise of absolute dedication without the guarantee of stability. Through a visual manipulations that dismantle sporting clichés, the players in this project are no longer defined by their stature or skill but appear as bodies in constant negotiation with space and themselves, interpreters of a desire that exceeds the norm yet remains marked by uncertainty. This project will continue to develop over the coming months in multiple languages like sound and possibly performance. We are working with @_p_i_e_t_r_a_ and a group of designers and artists, i can’t wait to share the other elements of the research. by @_manuelgatto_

The campaign “Epidermide” for @3tbike was born from the idea of portraying the bicycle as a living body, a form that connects with the rider and expresses itself through surfaces, lines and motion. It’s a story about material, physicality and dynamism where intimacy meets power.
“Epidermide” explores the dialogue between the skin’s texture and the marble’s surface, a meeting point between human touch and sculpted perfection.

@stormostudio and I had the opportunity to transcend the boundaries of traditional still life photography, venturing instead into a visual and material investigation through the lens of a microscope. On the occasion of the launch of RAW by @pulkra_design at @3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, we explored how raw matter asserts itself as the very essence of design. This project became a dialogue between surface and substance, between the seen and the unseen a visual ode to materiality in its purest form. taken in Copenhagen, Dennmark by @_manuelgatto_

Nove is a small town nestled at the foothills of the Vicentine Prealps, known for its rich deposits of plastic clay, kaolin, and silica. Renowned worldwide in the decorative arts, Nove has been producing ceramics continuously for three centuries. Last winter, I had the opportunity to explore, through photography, the dialogue between design and craftsmanship created by @botteganove . I tried to capture part of the process as a tribute to handmade work, revealing the craftsman’s gestures and his most important tools.
