Mat leave has been a season of so many firsts, and one of them was finally taking a chance on something of my own 🥹

What started as a love for capturing the little moments, the behind-the-scenes, turned into @dilwalemomentsbym

Now, in between being a mom and figuring out this new chapter, I get to show up for couples on one of the most special days of their lives and do something I love ✨

if nothing else, please try and take out just one hour for yourself & it will make such a difference to your body and your mood!

we tend to put ourselves on the back burner after having a baby and doing anything for ourselves makes us feel supposedly guilty. This is the biggest trap & we need to make constant efforts to break it.

Taking care of yourself will help you and your baby - trust me sis 🤍

Amongst the many problematic things shown in this drama, this is probably one of my favourite things they’ve shown. And I’ve seen the opposite happen so many times with people around me.

I wish women watching this also learn something from Khushbakht, rather than just hoping they have a son like Abubakr

once you become a mom you’re constantly reminded to pick one lane and just make that your only identity but here’s to celebrating the you with ambition & the you who loves herself as a mother 💗

Caffe Paradiso’s salted brown butter & oat latte is one of nyc’s most viral coffees ☕️

Price: $7 (expensive for everyday coffee, but fairly priced for something that’s viral)

Thoughts: 8.5/10 - it was very good but it is a dessert coffee. So if you don’t like sweet coffee drinks, this is not for you. Pro tip: have it with cold foam, elevates the taste 🤌🏼

Would I go again? yes 😋

so so sad that most women have crossed paths with or heard of stories where men are disrespectful towards women vs. respectful - especially in the context of religion.

It’s so refreshing to see Abubakr’s patience, calmness & understanding of his wife’s past and state of mind!
