Dear friends, those new and old.

Thank you, gracias, grazie, danke to everyone who traveled, danced, played, shared and sent us cute little messages. We owe all of this to you.

For us, having the chance to express ourselves in Berlin is a big achievement, and we are bliss-struck and want to go back.

The Tales of Dakno vibes follow us everywhere we go, and in Berlin a new tale was told. Everything felt natural, fun, true and especially unexpected.

And so, we leave Berlin with full hearts, tired feet and a new tale engraved in the hearts of people. See you next time, wherever the rhythm takes us. by @_marioignacio

Tales of Dakno: The Berlin Story

One of those places you hear about and dream about endlessly, wondering if one day you might find your way there.

A place of duality, constantly reminding you that nothing is ever quite what it seems. There’s always another side, another perspective, something hiding behind the obvious.

Maybe that’s exactly why we ended up here.

For this one, we’re bringing together what we know works best. Nothing but the classics: our best friends, honest talent, music we genuinely love, and the undeniable TOD vibe.

Another story waiting to be written. We invite everyone to be part of it.

If you bring an immaculate vibe and a serious desire to dance, we promise the rest will take care of itself.

Happy to announce that Breathe records is taking over the bar on April 11th.

Between Wales and Amsterdam, Breathe is fronted by DJ and resident Jack Darwin. From podcasts and parties, Breathe’s footprint has been widespread since 2017.

At Café Café, first to join Jack in the booth is Peruvian born Mario Ignacio, a now NL based DJ and self described ‘record huntsman’. The ‘Tales of Dakno’ affiliate is well versed in scenes across Europe, and adds the necessary global flavour to complete the linup.

To round out the night, Breathe brings NITKA, a Rotterdam based duo between Nika and Nitram. Careful selectors, NITKA have lately taken their talent for curation through to the label side, with their project Rites of Passage being well worth looking into.

See you on Saturday the 11th.

Tales of Dakno: The Undersound Story

Siguiendo los principios y volviendo a donde todo empezó.

Era cuestión de tiempo para que Tales of Dakno volviera a Lima para recalcar la defensa de lo que es justo y necesario: el amor a la música y a los demás.

Para esto, Undersound destaca y se alza. Un colectivo de alta referencia que, para muchos, ha sido fuente de inspiración infinita desde su inicio.

En cartelera, Pi @trescomacatorcee llega desde Uruguay para apoderarse de la noche con su live set de etiqueta.

Por si no fuera suficiente, y para dar mucho más de qué hablar, otro live set de la joyita @acid_charlie

De la mano de tus favoritos @___.billy_ y @_marioignacio , quienes regresan con mucho gusto para tocar su música favorita y contar una nueva historia que vivirá en el recuerdo.

Esperen una velada amena, con música preparada con mucho cariño y nuevas, tanto como viejas, amistades reunidas.

Se recomienda venir temprano para poder disfrutar al máximo de los bookings. Venir con una vibra inmaculada y bailar.

It only took almost 3 years to come up with a gazellig gathering in me dearest Amsterdam. To finally be able to inscribe in the cosmos the first Amsterdanian Tales of Dakno: The Knosion Story.

A story that represents friendship, growth, and ultimately the struggle, ambition, and support of small brands; brands that share the same principles and have the potential to eat up the world.

Thanks to everyone that I met in this seemingly never-ending musical story of mine. Thanks, everyone, for the good and the bad. It is only the small victories, day by day, that made the inimaginable tangible.

Now, surrounded with good friends, music, and fashion, the idea of a little cheeky evening seems “not too shabby.”😂

With that spirit, I invite everyone that I had the luck to share time with in this city of dreams to pull up with, ofc, now—their sickest and hardest drip—to have a chat, a drink, and maaaybe a little dance to sick and well-curated music. To also enjoy the artistic manifestation-made clothes of @kno.sion . And if I do not personally know you or you are new in the city, please feel free to come to make some friends, have good food @feed.amsterdam , and ultimately a good time.

After days of meditating about recent life, it is with great gratitude, pride and love that we write and share this as a thank-you to everyone that made Tales of Dakno: The BCN story, a beautiful and relatable story. A story that can be told and has a special place in the hearts and memory of people.

A story that, because of hard work and blessed coincidence, allowed us to bring people from different backgrounds together, a story of skillful djs and their display of music collections, and a story of dance and so much fun with new and old friends.

The future is bright, we can see that when you do anything that comes from the heart, the Tales of Dakno vibes are corresponded.

Thank you to everyone involved, thank you to the dancers.

In a secret warehouse on the heart of Barcelona, a mental group of individuals…

Papolious Jones’ Human Vessel @briantophamm , the Egyptian messiah @yazeed.erth "Yazeed the Wise", a fixer so sharp that even the Ocean's Eleven crew was afraid of him @jjknowsbetter , together with the tales of dakno themselves @___.billy_ and @_marioignacio have agreed to come together to feed the turntables the finest cuts, ensuring the @kv2.audio sound system truly shines from midnight into the early hours of a cozy morning.

As the new year rapidly unfolds, we remind you to take a moment to cherish the present, to love, and to have fun with your friends and family. In that spirit, we invite you to join us for the writing of this new Tales of Dakno on February 8th.

Suddenly more than a week has gone by and every day I still think about this. From the bottom of my heart thanks to everyone that came for the dance and for bringing the vibe. Playing my dearest records with old and new friends was amazing, had a blast. Special thanks @___.billy_ and @martinnait for making this possible, thanks to @s.nulek for displaying outstanding turntablism prowess and thanks to everyone that is part and supports what @talesofdakno stands for. by @_marioignacio

Traveling to play records with friends means the world to me ❤️. Thank you to all those who stand besides me and allow the belief that it is possible to make positive change through music. The craziest part about all of this is that it doesn’t feel like a conclusion, it feels like the beginning of a hopefully long journey. Now for the first time in Barcelona.

Ever since I moved away to Ams my life has changed so drastically. I feel so happy and grateful for the people that i’ve met here that help me and push me to become the best version of myself. This is an expression of gratitude, admiration and love for this special people that will always have a special place in my heart and memory.
