POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Added a big one to the rock collection :)

A lil throwback to two years ago, when I got to summit the highest free-standing mountain in the world while fundraising for life-saving work in Afghanistan with @islamicreliefcanada. I couldn’t have asked for a better group to do it with!

Next up, Everest base camp.. who’s down?

Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet PBUH said, “A prayer in this mosque of mine is a thousand times greater than a prayer in other than it, except for the Masjid al-Haram.” [Sahih Bukhari; Sahih Muslim]

I didn’t expect to cry on this challenge..

Have you ever met people for the first time and felt like you’ve known them for a long time?✨ Despite meeting as complete strangers, our gang immediately came out of our shells.🐚 And when we felt like giving up, it was the waves of community support that kept us going.🌊 As we navigated the trails of Cape Breton we also summited personal challenges.🌱 In the end we raised $30,000+ towards Water for Life and made friends for life!🥺
(yes, you can still donate!!)

Looking for a way to support important causes and meet wonderful people? Check out upcoming challenges on the @islamicreliefcanada website now💙 by @_marwasaleem

to climb or not to climb, during ramadan🧗🏻‍♀️

our bodies are amanah (trust) from Allah and intentional self care is a form of worship - sometimes that can look like resting and other times..climbing!
