Romans 10:13-15 reminds us that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord WILL BE SAVED— but how can they believe if they’ve NEVER heard?
This trip was a testimony to the that truth. God allowed 24 of us brothers and sisters to go out of country to share the gospel. We dealt with sickness, cancelled plans but GOD worked through the unexpected, and he proved just that. Eternity reached folks this week.
I’m thankful for every moment, every conversation, and every soul reached. This is why we go serve! #HisGloryOurMission #Guatemala taken in Guatemala by @_masonmckenzie

Thank you Lacy! As a little boy you were my best friend. It’s hard to say goodbye today. Many memories were cherished with you and I could not had asked for much else. Some memories were not so great, @kolby_clark55 can agree to that. Lacy, as time went by you got older day by day. Today was a hard decision to make, but it was for your good. We love and will miss you so much! ❤️ by @_masonmckenzie

I thank God for the opportunity to share his precious word with the people of Guatemala. I thank God for the 32-35 that accepted Jesus Christ. I thank him for the ability to go. I thank this team, my prayer partner, my family but most importantly God for the willingness to be apart of something so great and eye opening. The poor are not going to come to you to hear the good news, we must be doers. We must be faithful to step in and speak up. We must speak. We must pray. We must ask. We must invite. We live in a “I” generation, we have things such as iPhones, iPads, computers, and etc. Those wants can not fill your soul, just your drawers. Yes, they might keep you entertained; but they can not give you the true meaning or satisfaction. In order to obtain the satisfaction that god wants for us we must surrender to him. We all need to make sacrifices. Own up to your sin, confess is before him and surrender it all to the glory of God. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you- James 4:8. We need to deny, deny, deny to the distractions we all face in our daily life’s and accept Gods freely Grace, Gods goal, and Gods guidance. Stop making your own path as gods path leads to victory soon to come where we can all stand freely as brothers and sisters of Christ. We are not saved by faith but by Jesus Christ. Real faith should produce work, real faith should witness, and real faith wins. We as Christians are on the winning side. I pray for the lost people reading this and I hope god is knocking on your door. If you do not have a church, I welcome you to Center Point Baptist church in scottsboro. God is working and I pray you can let him work in your very own heart today. Chose god! taken in Guatemala by @_masonmckenzie
