Sometimes, change isnโ€™t a bad thingโ€”itโ€™s mostly for the better. Just like this matcha! ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ’š ๐Ÿต Matcha Spotlight: @_matchakuro โ€” Hekiro 2.0 Aroma: Sweet & chocolatey On its own: Bold umami upfront, finishing sweet with a slight nutty note. Latte: Noticeable umami, balanced bitterness, with a milky sweetness and soft cashew notes. + Agave: Personally, I prefer it unsweetened, but agave may elevate the taste for others hehe. ๐Ÿคญ I already loved how smooth this matcha wasโ€”you know how much I love a smooth matcha! ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ’š And the price point? Definitely a plus for me. I especially LOVE this with oat milk! ๐Ÿฅน Even though Hekiro got a little revamp, it still holds up. Same quality I loved before, but somehowโ€ฆ even better. ๐Ÿ’šโœจ My ratio for this review: 4 matcha / 40 water / 80 oatmilk (no sweetener ๐Ÿคญ) Gifted, not a proโ€”just sharing my personal experience. Taste may vary. Chawan: @palawanpottery Chasen charm: @her_matcha_ Scale & kettle: @timemoreph Beads: @koimysa Glass: @kintojapan #matcha #matchalatte #matchalover #homecafe #reels by @_matchakuro

A few days late for my โ€œHELLO, SEPTEMBERโ€ post, but here I am โ€” still thriving! WAHAHAHAHA ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿƒ Also a tiny background change because apparently staying indoors during weeks of heavy rain turns you into an interior designer, and full-time delusional DIY enthusiast โ˜”๏ธ๐Ÿก๐Ÿ˜† Iโ€™m genuinely so happy with what we came up with because my husband โ€” @jep_oyski and I BUILT THIS TINY STATION TOGETHER!! Through questionable decisions!!! Through moments of โ€œwait, is this supposed to go here?โ€ Hehehe ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’š (yup that girly pink theme hahahahah) ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿฐ So yes, welcome to my โ€œotherโ€ matcha station โ€” because apparently one station was not enough and I needed to create a second little โ€˜shrineโ€™ dedicated to green powder, emotional support, and pretending Iโ€™m at peace HAHAHAHA ๐Ÿตโœจ๐ŸงŸโ€โ™€๏ธ And of course, Madam CEO โ€” @_egeeensmatcha has been showering me with the sweetest gifts because she knows exactly how to make me smile and spoil my little matcha-loving heart ๐Ÿ‘€๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿซฐ๐Ÿป Welcoming the new month with Shoฬ„yoฬ„ hy @_matchakuro !!! Just a little appreciation post because I really wanna cherish this brand ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ’š Same time last year, they were the first brand to believe in me and the first to send me my very first PR matcha. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿต And look at us nowโ€ฆ from strangers to this kind of friendship where we continue to help, support, and cheer each other on. ๐Ÿฅบโœจ Happy Anniversary to my OG! ๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿ™ Forever grateful that you believed in me from the very beginning. ๐Ÿซถ ๐Ÿต Matcha Spotlight: @_matchakuro โ€” Shoyo Color: Pretty green with a subtle yellow undertone Aroma: Mostly sweet and chocolatey, with a touch of nuttiness. On its own: Umami upfront, followed by nuttiness with a hint of floral notes, finishing with a lingering, soft nuttiness. As a latte: Balanced umami with lingering soft nuttiness and balanced bitternessโ€”almost like a nutty bitterness. It also has a soft, buttery, bright character. + Agave: Makes the overall taste more well-rounded. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied for me, with slight graininess and a light astringent finish. My ratio for this review: 4 matcha / 40 water / 80 oatmilk (no sweetener ๐Ÿคญ) Gifted, not a proโ€”just sharing my personal experience. Taste may vary.
