happy fathers day!
-
recently, ive been thinking about my dad a lot! it’s been almost 15 years since he passed away and every day i am reminded of how much he loved me (even in such little time he got to know me.) this fathers day is different for me because im going into the next chapter of my life, my REAL life, and i feel like i have a missing piece in my heart.
ever since i was little i’ve always looked up to my dad, ive always wanted to be just like him. whenever someone told me that i looked just like him or i act just like him, i always smile because that means im living out his legacy!
majority of the reason i love music so much is because i feel like it connects me with him. it makes me feel closer to him, especially if its a certain song that he would listen to. i feel like in this journey of life i am not only learning about myself but im learning more about him too. over the years, ive found cds, bibles, journals, and some random art that he made and it brings me closer to knowing who he was.
it’s really hard knowing that he wont be able to help me with my next chapter in life but i do know that he’s always going to be in my heart and always going to be proud of me. im very happy that i’ll always be his little miracle!
forever and always, i love you! by @_mayyyybee_
