Finally tidying records away after @thefullmoon_festival and re-found this on my shelves. Arkives collection by @richiehawtin that contained pretty much everything he’d done as plastikman up to that point. Tons of remixes on vinyl including this amazing @carlcraignet remix, all the albums on CD and a load of download tracks I’ve long since lost on a corrupted hard drive. There’s even a Xmas card from Richie

@_mdma_ofc origins - The year is 2000, PomPom (pictured) is 17 years old, in his bedroom in his hometown - the Pennines marketown of #todmorden .He bought his first set of decks and mixer for his 16th birthday. 2x #Gemini XL-500 II Direct Drive Turntables & Gemini PMX140 Mixer.

Pre-club warm up sessions with friends were part of the ritual, before the pilgrimage to the legendary @outinthestickstodmorden at The Bluenote w/ @memoriesfrommusic for the weekly education in #housemusic

There is a good chance PomPom was playing this monster #record from 2000. It is fair to say PomPom's neighbours weren't fans of these pre-club sessions.
