Spent the weekend yarn crawling and here’s what I have to show for it!
This year I was able to visit five of the participating yarn shops- some of which I was visiting for the first time! I went in with a plan and a shopping list, but with amazing truck shows and beautiful featured colorways, plans went out the window😅

Finished Sunflower Top🌻
I’m so happy with how this top turned out! The @cascadeyarns pandamonium worked up so soft and drapey. There are sleeve and neckline detail options that I still may go back and add. What do you think?

My current wips🧶

🧡 Wisteria Tank with Berroco Medina- just needs i-cord edging around the neck and arms, and a good block! Got the yarn from a friend in my knit group and I was definitely playing yarn chicken with this one. I would have liked to make it longer, but I’m generally happy with what I ended up with.
💙 BonBon Cardi with Yarn Citizen Affinity- I’m obsessed with this cardigan. It’s going to be perfect for the Fall. (The Alpaca blend is a little warm for a summer top.) This has been a great pattern to participate in the pointelle lace trend.
💚 Bridgeway Shawl with Sewrella 2ply sock oopsies- This shawl is one of this year’s make along patterns for the Sierra Yarn Crawl which is happening mid Sept.
💛 Good Vibes Socks with The Wandering Flock’s Baby Paca- These are the first quarter’s socks from TWF’s quarterly sock club for this year! I just received Q2’s yarn, so I do want to finish these up quick! #knittinginspo #wips by @_meg.handmade_

Shopped at @yarnadventuretruck during their stop at @woolly.llama.yarns with a bunch of my yarnie friends this weekend🥰 We had so much fun! And I got to see yarn from a bunch of new to me dyers. I’m so happy with what I picked up and I hope Yarn Adventure Truck will come back to the Reno/Tahoe area again someday🧶 taken in Woolly Llama Yarns by @_meg.handmade_
