Putting this post together feels surreal, and I’ve genuinely been on cloud nine since the gig. Playing in @indexdublin has been a long standing dream of mine. It has been one that I’ve been working toward for a very long time. Stepping out onto that stage meant more than I can really put into words tbh ✨💓On top of that… Supporting a DJ I’ve admired since the beginning made it all the more unreal @ben_klock .

I’m truly grateful to @subjectevents for giving me the chance to play such a significant night. It’s one I won’t be forgetting anytime soon. 😇

You can next catch me in the Kino in Cork on the 12/12 on support for @sunilsharpe where I will be b2b with @liamchambers.music 👑

🚨 Artist Feature: @_mejmi_ 🚨

Hailing from Galway and now based in Cork, Mejmi is a DJ, producer, and classically trained cellist who’s been carving her own path in the Irish electronic scene. Known for sets and productions that balance raw energy with deep introspection, she’s quickly becoming one to watch.

We asked her a series of questions about her production journey, the challenges she’s faced, and the tips that keep her grounded — all as part of our upcoming FREE Music Production Guide for women (and anyone else interested).

📖 The full interview will be released in the guide soon, but here’s your chance to get early access when it’s ready.

👉 Comment below if you’d like to receive the guide straight to your inbox when it’s released.

Let’s co-create this guide together — if you’re a producer who wants to be featured, reach out!

Big thanks to Selma from @x.bookings for arranging this interview and making the process so seamless. 🙏

Born to fit out.

MEJMI //
Sound that blends hypnotic, rhythmic techno with spectral atmospheres and old-school
influences. By incorporating both vinyl and digital formats, MEJMI pays tribute to the genre’s
roots while pushing its boundaries.
Balancing multiple projects, from organizing her event series Club Economy and holding a
residency at Bastardo Electrico to releasing fresh productions on labels like Harmless Records,
Faoi Thalamh Records, Encrypted, and Airtexture.
MEJMI’s artistry and ethos have left a strong mark on the Irish underground scene and are
steadily resonating across Europe. With standout performances in Berlin, Warsaw, and Lublin —
and support slots alongside renowned acts such as Ben Sims, Ben Klock, Fiedel, Amotik, The
Lady Machine, Rene Wise and Sunil Sharpe — MEJMI continues to establish a distinctive
presence across the international electronic landscape. taken in Cork, Ireland by @_mejmi_
