@chimarathon taught me many things, a day and a year full of emotions, all of the training I put in this marathon was literally full of ups and downs, but life’s beautiful 💙 nonetheless, I worked my ass off, did put in a lot of miles, put my family, friends and love life in jeopardy pursuing a dream to break my old marathon time (I’m not that fast either) and beat it by 7 minutes, it’s great, wish I did a lot of things differently, can’t change what’s done, but I can, and #iwill change how what I do in the future is different, not sure if I want to run a #marathon again.
There’s a lot of people that supported me throughout this arduous training and life in general, this marathon medal is for you, I could not have done it without you all, I love you all 🤎🧡💞♾️💙♾️💚🖤

It all has a story behind it.
This mask was the first mask I wore as a grownup and I did wear it in a few races.
I wore luchador masks since a child, watching #Luchalibre every Sunday, wishing one day I’d be able to go go to a match, it took 40 years for that to happen and it was one of the best days in my life, I did go to a see @penta_zero_miedo before he was in the @wwe and I actually got on a ring with real #luchador
These past two years however, life threw a wrench and knocked me down, and wearing a mask to my races was not a thing I could do anymore.
To me, wearing a mask in a race or a competition means a lot, it gives great responsibility where I actually give it all I got looking for to the best outcome possible.
But life also is beautiful, and it’s smiling at me now watching and cheering on as I’m picking myself up once again.
