Today Oct. 17th, 2026 I celebrate the year anniversary of the last time I made a cut to my flesh.

Today reminds me of how far I have come and for the first time I can truly say I am so proud of myself and the growth I have made. I declared and made a self declaration that 2026 will be my complete healing and full transformation year. Though I have a way to go, I also have a come a long way from where I began.

I thank the Lord above for keeping me in perfect peace.

Jesus is the Reason for the Season!! This Season I want to say thank you Jesus for being my reason to live again, to strive again and for give me chance after chance to get it right.

2025 has taught me so much. It’s taught me I’m stronger than I give myself credit for. It’s taught me that I am loved and cared for despite how it feels at times. And It’s taught me how to trust again!! And with all these lessons it’s caused me to grow stronger and deeper in God!! My prayer for 2025 was to grow stronger and deeper in God and He said ok bet. I’m going to send you through test and trails that’s gonna require you to trust more that’s gonna require you to learn more so that you can grow deeper in me. He said you can’t get stronger if you don’t put in the work. He said to grow stronger you have to discipline yourself to keep going even when you don’t want to, you have to keep putting in the work even when it’s hard. And that’s what this year has taught me.

So thank you Lord for the test that has made my relationship with you stronger!! Thank you for never leaving me nor forsaking me, and thank you for keeping me even when I didn’t want to be kept!!

So Here’s to 2026 the completely healed version of me!! The version of me that trust you in everything!! I surrender my life to you completely no more hiding or running!! Here’s to the real authentic JAMIAH ANITRA DAVIS who’s walking into her purpose!! 💕💕🎄✝️ by @_miah22_
