One year without you, Dad.

I miss your smile, your hugs, your calls, your jokes, your love of life. But I know all of your best qualities live within me (some might say your bad ones too 😉) someone’s gotta stay stubborn and short tempered around here!

Some of my dads favorite things and places were listening to music or being at a concert, boating on the water, cooking, gardening, planning/throwing a party, entertaining guests or clients, attending a sporting event, tailgating a game (or a play), cheering on his kids from the sideline or audience, and being with my mom.

If you know me, then you know my dad - we are one and the same. Year one was tough, but I can’t wait to tell you about it. Gonna go make a bomb mortadella (sliced paper thin) sandwich and mulch the front yard as you would request me to.

2025 was a tough one, but I was able to make the most of the opportunities that this year presented me. Biggest highs and lows of 2025:
• I turned 30
• I lost the two most important men in my life, my dad and grandpa
• I excelled in a new job with Dick’s Sporting Goods
• I ran my first race (8k)
• I traveled to 10 cities: Paris, Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Clermont Creans, Pittsburgh, Hartford MI, Knoxville, Boston, Orlando, San Diego
• I moved into a place I love to call home with the one I love most
• I celebrated my brother and new sister in law’s wedding (twice!)
• I saw Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Sabrina Carpenter, the Jonas Brothers, Renee Rapp, and Teddy Swims
• I celebrated more friends getting married
• I watched some baseball games
• I watched my friends show up for me when I needed them most
& I spent a lot of time with family which has meant the world to me ♥️

Scorpio SZN ♏️ I turned 30!! I’ve really felt the love on this milestone birthday and have enjoyed celebrating all my other friends and fam who share the season with me.
