After two full length releases on Burgan Triangle Tapes, Nick Dan is coming to Melbourne playing Solo Guitar on Sunday the 6th of September. Nick’s most recent album “Sit Back and Look at the Sky” rocks back and forth between patient meditation, lobotomised dirge, and ardent sorrow, til you forget you’re even listening to someone play guitar. It’s transportive and devotional, peak Aussie skronk. Joining him is Maggie @maggie0200 and Stevepipe @0494103010_ @gustremdav $15 on the door at Milney’s, 451 Brunswick St Fitzroy. [PLEASE MAKE SURE JON POSTS TO HIS SOCIALS AFTER 5PM. THANK YOU! - SOCIAL TEAM] Probably about time I returned to Melbourne for a show. What better way to herald my first East Coast show of the year than celebrating my next EP coming out with a few absolute legends I'm blessed to know? Anyway, if you're in town come August 7th, make sure you pop 'round to @_milneys_. @swickswick, @d.tyr0ne, @kailyncrabbe and I will be throwing one hell of an after-work knees-up, so you'd be foolish to miss it. Team @nlvrecords and I kinda rushed the Studio Heuristic crew to get a poster going on at short notice, as you can see in my letter to the team. For some reason, Arthur Galbraith (the guy who oversees the whole thing when I'm not in the studio) decided to scrawl on the poster after scanning through the final approved poster, but we mercifully got a clean version. You know exactly where the RSVP link is. Don't blame us if your nice suit gets ruined in the fracas. - Jon by @_milneys_
