A wee day out on the East Coast. We love to visit Crail in the summer. Some lobster at the harbour and then a wee drive out to St.Andrews. I made this skirt out of a duvet cover and I've hardly taken it off since I made it! So simple and comfy in the warm weather. I think I would leave the side seams open for about 8 inches before the hem for better ease of movement next time. @truebias by @_miranda_makes_

First make for a good while! Unfortunately the day job overtakes my hobby at some points in the year and exam season is definitely one of those times! I started this blouse at a sewcial at @thimbleberrysewing during the Easter holidays and that is it just finished! It is a pattern from prima magazine and I really love the finished item. I used a polka dot cotton lawn that I bought from @ladymcelroyfabrics a good few years ago and it was lovely to work with. After hardly sewing for months, I finished this on Saturday and finished a skirt today! I will share it once I have made the matching top... by @_miranda_makes_
