september was a rollercoaster…

we lost our poncho beginning of september (my grandpa on my mom’s side). I’m not one for emotions or feelings transparently, but this one really tore my heart up and I really don’t have any additional words.

the next day at softball I just felt a random gust of wind and started crying. I was obviously trying to hide it because I’m sitting at a softball game cheering for my daughter while simultaneously watching my four boys run around. kye noticed and quietly went off and picked these flowers to make me a bouquet..he then walked over and handed it to me and said, “are you okay mom? are you crying because ellie’s team is loosing?” which is honestly the laugh I needed !!

later on that same day my cousin (who was my ponchos care taker and lived with my grandparents) also passed away; this photo is texas circa 2014 🫶🏼

& then later that night @324_flores took me out to dinner in walnut creek to celebrate my birthday; thank you baby !

annual cousin day at the dublin wave !!

this year ellie did the “drop” slide for the first time, kye did both the SUPER big slides, graycen was finally brave enough + auggie was finally tall enough for the “big kid” slides and we ALL had the best time in the sun 🙌🏼 I can’t believe school starts tomorrow; I’m not done making all the mid-day magical summer memories 😭☀️🌊👙💸 taken in The Dublin Wave by @_missbrooke
