Chemical Weather

This song is about realizing that not every emotional shift means something is wrong with you. Some days the sky is clear, and some days a storm rolls in for absolutely no freakin reason, and instead of fighting it or blaming yourself, you learn to read the forecast. You don’t have to control every feeling; you can recognize it, give yourself a little grace, dress for the weather, and know it’ll eventually pass.

I Don’t Trust Silence

This is all about realizing that sometimes I keep myself busy and surrounded by noise because quiet feels way too fucking loud. 😂 If you know, you know…. When everything stops, there’s nowhere to hide from your own thoughts, memories, and all the shit you’ve gotten really good at outrunning. It’s not that I’m afraid of what’s inside me, I’m afraid that once I actually listen to it, I won’t know how to turn it back off.

White Noise Heart

This song I s about when you’ve felt so much for so long that your brain finally just turns the volume down. You’re not necessarily sad, you’re not happy, you’re not even really lonely, you’re just… there. It’s that weird numb space where you can still function, laugh, talk, show up, but nothing really reaches you personally. Maybe that numbness isn’t something wrong with you, but maybe for right now, the static is your survival mechanism.

Almost Calm

Do you have those rare moments when everything finally gets quiet, but you’re almost afraid to trust it? It’s that weird space where you’re not falling apart anymore, but you’re not convinced you’re healed either. You start to breathe, loosen your grip, maybe even imagine things being okay… while part of you is still waiting for the other shoe to drop. It’s not quite peace. It’s not quite chaos. It’s almost calm. That’s what this song is about, and for me, right now, maybe that’s enough.

Static In My Chest

I question, I can’t be the only one that has a ringing in the heartstrings constantly being bombarded by the voices of others even when they aren’t even speaking, right? It’s a paranoia that’s feels unsettling and it’s always on, churning non stop. The static it creates in the chest feels like a burden you can’t really talk about, like no one will really understand what I means to be unable to turn it down to more of a fizzle. Yet, it is impossible. That’s what this song is about, the insatiable desire to turn the care down a few volumes.

Unstable

Ever feel a little unstable, not broken, but always on the edge of expecting the next worse thing? Thats me, a lot. So many great things have happened in my life, but also a lot of not great things, which has led to the uneasy feeling of “well, what else can go wrong?”
