I’ve been enjoying the finer details of installing doors and locks this week. As the cool weather settles in and Waring promises to bring the rain soon, it’s nice to settle into some focused interior jobs where it’s warm and dry.

Last few bits and pieces to do at this renovation in Coburg. A New bathroom, back deck and kitchen bring this neat 1970’s 2 bedroom unit up to date. by @_mitchmakes_

Been working on redesigning this old chair with the indomitable @_futurearchive___ for the Clothes for Chairs project as part of design week. Stay tuned for more prototypes!

Here’s some big floating screens i built and installed for for @_hiball_ ‘s Composition for Mnemosyne at @haydens.gallery in richmond late last year.

Whilst wearing one of my many other hats, I also had the pleasure of developing and composing the score for the work with @hudsonmacushla. So it was particularly satisfying to install the work and see it hovering in the corner on the big screen!

Hello! Here’s me looking very chuffed with this fence @danika.music.artist and I built for some clients in Brunswick a few years ago now with @ceresfairwood.

Loved the design using some beautiful sustainably harvested Victorian Sugar Gum. Incredibly hardy timber that will age gracefully with a coat of oil every couple of years. by @_mitchmakes_
