$The Story Behind the Logo Inspired by my very first tattoo and my first love—dance. I began dancing at 14 when I chose Beginning Dance over PE at South High in Torrance, CA (running laps was not the move 😅). What started as jazz and ballet basics with @sachamendi—completely out of my comfort zone—quickly became my passion. Through years of hard work, I eventually made the Advanced Competition Team senior year, where we won multiple national championships. Two weeks before undergrad, a car accident fractured my kneecap, putting dance on pause—but it jump-started my journey into physical therapy. Now, healed and finished with seven years of schooling, I’m returning to what I love most. Welcome to MotionMemories and I hope you enjoy the show 💃🏾✨ by @_motionmemories$

The definition of a push hello!! I wasn’t even going to post this but I have to keep reminding myself that this is a dance journey and progress tracking page so not everything needs to look perfect. Regardless, I’m so happy I could learn from these 2 dance legends and proud of myself for always pushing through no matter the challenge. 🫡🫶🏾 by @_motionmemories

You would think as a Nigerian that Afro dance comes easy to me, but this is actually one of my weaker styles since i trained in the more technical spaces for so long. Happy to be learning and growing in this style again and can’t wait to see the improvements. by @_motionmemories
