Today I am so thrilled to share my reworking of 𝔗𝔦𝔯𝔢𝔡 from my friend @cassie__vines’ new record, ℑ’𝔩𝔩 𝔟𝔢 𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔢! 🗡️ I had such a blast putting my own spin on this beautiful track and hope y’all enjoy the result of its journey.

New @hauntress out today! Gigantic thank you to @kcullenhart and crew for always trusting me and following me down many of my “hey I’ve actually got a wild idea” paths. They even let me shoot all the photos and create the album art for this one, despite all signs pointing to “bad idea”. Super proud of the whole thing and highly recommend listening through it.

New @restorations out today! As a genuine super fan of this band, and the people in it, I still can’t believe that they asked me to mix it. It’s got everything you (and I) could hope for in a Restos record and more. I feel like you can literally hear how fun it was to make. Engineered by my dude and absolute shredder @daveklyman and mastered by @ian.makes.music. Forever grateful for this crew and the incredible amount of kindness they’ve shown me over the last ~9 years of knowing them. by @_mpoirier

After about two years of on and off sessions, I’m very excited for this record to exist out in the world. Working with Kev has been one of the most fulfilling collaborative experiences of my career and this record is a solid document of that. He wrote some legitimately great songs that we recorded in some pretty weird ways. Lots of different tape machines, extensive pedal chains, reamping, etc. Turns out there’s a lot that can be done with an acoustic guitar and some whistling.
