The “Unsinkable” spirit is reaching new heights as Landon Davis has been officially elected to serve as the 76th Student Government Association President of Albany State University. In a remarkable feat of leadership, Landon secures the highest student office on campus while only in his Sophomore year, proving that vision and dedication have no age limit.

MEET THE PRESIDENT-ELECT. With a stellar 3.8 GPA and a relentless drive for excellence, Landon has accomplished a monumental amount in just a year and a half on the Yard. His trajectory at Albany State reflects a consistent commitment to governance and campus culture:
• 76th Student Government Association President-Elect (2026-2027)
• Current Student Activities Advisory Board (SAAB) President (2025-2026)
• Current Sophomore Class President (2025–2026)
• Former Freshman Class President (2024–2025)
• Mister NCNW (National Council of Negro Women, Albany State University Section)

A LEGACY OF SERVICE. Landon’s journey from Freshman Class President to the SGA Presidency is a testament to the trust his peers place in his leadership. Whether he is advocating for student resources or representing Albany State University Section of NCNW as Mister NCNW, he consistently balances high-level responsibility with academic distinction.

A first-generation college student with a dream bigger than my circumstances. Despite the adversity that tried to slow me down, I stayed focused and kept elevating. My journey is proof that pressure doesn’t break you when you’re built to lead. In only a year and a half at ASU, I’ve held a 3.8 GPA, taken on major leadership roles, and started building a legacy of my own✍️
