It’s ⌚️ to give myself permission to dream again; dream bigger then before. Let this new journey begin👣👣👣
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
What a journey this year around the sun has been. I lost one of my greatest loves—my grandmother—and navigating the waves of grief hasn’t been easy. Upholding the morals and values she instilled in me is a daily challenge, especially in a world where the devil stays busy.

I’ve lost friends I thought were ride-or-die, only to realize they were just time stamps along my path. Still, I remain courageous and resilient, showing my siblings that there’s so much more life to live.

I’m not always sunshine—I can be a storm in the afternoon (Leo things). I cry for my mother at night because I want her to live her fullest, happiest life. She’s tough as nails, but I want more for her.
This year, I met someone who reminded me what real love feels like—and for that, I’m grateful. I’m humbled. And yes, I’m still single… for now.

Thank you, Universe, for the lessons, the losses, and the tests—both new and recycled. May I continue to learn and rise from them.

Let’s go, 42.

Dear Grandma and Grandpa,

As I sit down to write this letter, my heart is heavy with love and sadness. Growing up, I never imagined a day would come when I would have to say goodbye to you both. As a child, I often didn't understand the lessons you tried to teach me, and I sometimes got frustrated with your guidance. But now, looking back, I see the wisdom in every word and every moment we shared. You were my compass, my guiding stars, and the foundation of everything I hold dear.

The day that Grandpa left us on February 1, 2014, shattered our family in ways I still struggle to comprehend. He was the only man I ever looked up to in that way—a true role model of kindness, strength, and hard work. He was a REAL MAN, showing love through action—I remember how he would bring my Grandma flowers every week for over five decades, without fail, a simple yet profound testament to his love and appreciation for my grandmother's unwavering support and devotion. He was a maters carpenter who rushed home every day just to prepare dinner for my grandmother after long days of her caring for others as a nurse. Your love was not loud or flashy; it was a quiet strength that gave me the greatest example of what it means to truly love someone.

Now, I’ve lost my Grandma, September 27, 2024, it felt like the last piece of my heart was taken away. Watching her navigate life without you, Grandpa, was heartbreaking. Her spirit dimmed in ways that were hard to witness. I tried to show her the same love and care that you both had given me—cooking her favorite meals and sharing moments that reminded her of the life you built together. The trip to Georgia to see your sisters was filled with warmth and love, and in those moments, I felt your presence surrounding us.

You both taught me what it means to cherish family. You were there for me in ways that no one else could be, always offering love and comfort during my darkest days. Your unwavering support and the bond we shared were like a shelter in a storm. I can still hear the echoes of your love and guidance, and I often find myself longing for just one more moment, one more dance, one more conversation.

I will always love you. 💋🙏 by @_mrcmg_
