Dear Daddy,

I still can’t believe I’d have to see this day so soon. 🥹😔You could’ve never told me in a million years I’d have to say goodbye this early. My heart hurts in a way I can’t begin to explain.

To know you was truly to love you. You were, and still are, the only man in my life that I fully trust. You showed me what being a good person looks like… because you lived it every single day. You taught me what real love looks like.

Daddy, I miss you like no other.💔

Even though I know God prepared us for this very moment, it still feels like one bad dream that I’m just waiting to wake up from.

I know God has us!! I just know you’re looking down and smiling. We sent you off exactly the way you would have wanted. It was such a beautiful day. Continue to watch over us and protect us, just as you always have.

I wish I could call you, text you, or tell you I love you just one more time! You taught me so much in this life, but most of all, you taught me how to be strong no matter what. I need that strength now more than ever.

Thank you for every lesson, every laugh, every hug, and every moment spent. Thank you God, for our dad’s time on this earth.

We now understand that God needed you more, and even though it breaks us, we know you’re finally home and no longer in pain.

And just like that… I have a 9-year-old!💙 Wow… Time is such a beautiful reminder of just how much you’ve grown and how far you’ll go.

June 30th will forever be one of the best days of my life!

God truly gave me the absolute best child one could ask for. You’re so loved and you deserve the world. I pray daily for your health, happiness, peace, protection, and every good thing in between.

I declare and decree that you are covered by God’s protection, guided by His hand, and blessed in all that you do.
