From being a vendor for the first time, to see @ms.kami_ driving around her car without issues, to have my Japanese-import selected for Mutt Nuts, to hang with the gang and last but not least to have David aka @snapkiller_ shoot our cars; it was a hell of a week and one for the books. I can't express how grateful I am with the community for the massive support to the brand in our first show as well as Paul and the rest of the staff for making everything possible, y'all are the MVPs. The crew for holding it down at the booth didn't go unnoticed either. The designs were well received, and the overall feedback was great. We also almost doubled our sales' goal as well. What an amazing experience. As for the merch, some sizes sold out, I'll go over the inventory and will update accordingly. I'm hoping to have the web store up and running later this week. #flashbackfriday to when I bought the white mk2 and loaded it with rare parts, some of them even NOS. Car was rusty and not worth (for ME) the hassle/cost of fixing it the right way. But I was tired of seeing all these parts just sitting and I didn't really care about the resale value because, let's be honest, the average VW owner is not known for paying premium prices. I rarely switch Marketplace location to PA anymore as now I'm too far and I don't like asking the homies to pick up shit for me. Here's my latest score. NOS Full Zender kit for VW Mk2s Everything is there, brochure, decals, Autotech receipts, hardware, fog light delete covers. There's even a set of Jetta-specific rear spats so the kit could be used on both Jettas and Golfs. I was told about this kit about 15 years ago, but my friend never mentioned anything about being brand spanking new. 🫨 Straight from the 80s. Yes, this was in Puerto Rico.
