Frankfurt, Germany 🇩🇪

On the way back from India, we had about a 5 hour layover in Germany! We took this opportunity to quickly bounce around the historic area of the city, enjoy a coffee, and get back to the airport. We were able to see some history in the local churches, learn about how WWII impacted the city, and how Martin Luther travelled and preached this area! This was my first time ever being in a European country, and even though my time there was short lived, it was very enjoyable and I’m glad I came away with a few good photos from it!

The Golden Gate Bridge
San Fransisco California

You may wonder, as I did, why is it called the Golden Gate Bridge if it’s really painted red/orange? The answer lies in the fact that the body of water that the bridge crosses over is called the Golden Gate Strait which connects the San Francisco Bay with the pacific ocean. This massive, 1.7 mile bridge was built in 1937, and at the time it held the world record for the longest suspension bridge with the highest towers! Even though you can’t feel it when driving across, the bridge was constructed with the ability to flex and move. In the case of extreme weather or hurricanes, it can sway around 30ft sideways. And if you’ve read along this far, the official color of the bridge is called international orange!

Seeing and capturing this American icon was truly spectacular! This bridge is MASSIVE when you’re driving across it (which we did like 4 times) Pictures don’t really do it justice. Im not normally a city type, but this was so cool. Even though we just visited San Fran as a launching point for our Yosemite trip earlier this year, it was totally worth it and i would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Niagara Falls, the Canadian Side 🇨🇦

This summer I had the opportunity to see Niagara Falls for the second time, but when approaching them, I felt as I was seeing them for the first time again! The size of the falls and the sheer amount of waterfall pouring over them constantly is absolutely incredible! Definitely worth the visit if you ever happen to be close to them!

Mt. McKinley 📍
Denali National Park, Alaska

Who knew late night drives from Denali to anchorage could be so majestic?! Beautiful skies, views of the tallest mountain in America (and many others), as well as spotting 19 moose made this drive one to remember!

Aerial views of Lake Clark National Park 🏔️

Did you know?
- Lake Clark National Park has no roads and can only be reached by a small plane!
- this park is over 2.6 million acres in size!
- Despite its immense beauty, it is the one of the least visited national parks in the US.
- There are several active volcanoes in this national park.
- Some of the notable wildlife here include caribou, grizzly bears, moose, wolves, Dall sheep, and arctic ground squirrels!

Sissu Valley, India 🇮🇳

Last post from the India trip for now!
This one has several shots captured in the Sissu Valley, but also several that I took just as we were driving. This place was so beautiful and I still can’t get over the fact that I got to see the Himalayan Mountains. Himachel was such an awesome place to visit and if you ever make it to India, definitely make a stop there!

The Taj Mahal
Agra, India 🇮🇳

The first of the 7 wonders of the world that I’ve gotten to see! It was truly incredible to witness the size of this building, it’s hard to believe it was built in 1653. Fun fact, it took over 22 years and 22,000 people to construct it! The perfect symmetry, handmade inlay work, and the scale of it is absolutely amazing, you should definitely add it to your bucket list of places to visit. So thankful for the opportunity to see it!

McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala 📍

It was such a joy to capture views of the Dhauladhar range, a beautiful section of the southern Himalayas. Throughout the rest of this post you’ll see some of the people, animals, culture, and lifestyle of this area!

A shepherd, his puppy, and his goats

“Baaaa”

A dust storm and a hand painted work truck.

A mom and baby monkey. I believe this type of monkey is called the rhesus macaque.

Incredible views of the Himalayas alongside these homes built into the mountains.

Prayer flags & enjoying the views.

A crowed street.

Streets are for waking, but also motorcycles, and cars, cows, or goats. Whatever fits is what it’s for.

Some photos from the Indian side of the Himalayas. getting to see these majestic mountains has been something that I’ve always dreamed of doing, but never really thought I would get to see. very thankful that I was able to visit and capture these photos!

Towards the end, I also added some photos from the Altal Tunnel, which is the longest highway single tube tunnel above 10,000feet in elevation in the world! In total, the tunnel is 5.6 miles long!

A trip that was so awesome, I can’t put it into words and have no idea what to caption it. Hope you enjoy these shots from early this summer way across the world, in India!

At the beginning of this summer I got an FX-2 and the opportunity to take it on a few amazing trips! One of them being to South Asia. Super happy with the photos so far!
