This evening’s endeavour. Thanks to #bakewithjack for the class so many moons ago. I tried stoneground whole meal flour this time and it worked. I like the taste more than white when it’s toasted. And it’s the law to toast a hot cross bun!! by @_neil_1966

Chicken and chorizo risotto with shiitake mushrooms, cream and a dash of white wine. Topped with garlic chives, pepper and a sprinkle of paprika. Cooked faster than it takes to get a takeaway delivered!. #homecooking #tasty by @_neil_1966

My favourite pasta dish. Chilli crab with linguine. Put the pasta in boiling water. Mince a shallot and a clove of garlic and soften in olive oil. Add some chopped sun dried tomato and the brown crab meat together with a generous splash of crisp white wine. I used a good #viognier which was on special at Waitrose 😀 Toss in the pasta when cooked and mix well. Plate up and sprinkle on some rocket leaves, freshly chopped red chilli and the white crab meat. Dust with freshly cracked pepper. Serve. Thanks to Battenbergbelle and Datesplates for the inspiration. #homecooking #pasta #pastalover #seafood #freshfood by @_neil_1966
