Last year @braeuhausgasse31 !

Last minute exhibition with the great @tho_b.n !

Since I didn’t have a canvas with me,but still wanted to paint something, I decided to rip off the roller blinds of our exhibition room and use them as my canvas.

So heres my camel painting on roller blinds in time laps!

Quick and dirty I think this one has a certain vibe id like to share.

What do you think about it?
Let me know!

Have a nice week yall.

Did you know…?

In an early concept for The Matrix, humans weren’t supposed to be batteries at all.

They were farmed for their data.

AI requires incredible amounts of computing power: enormous amounts of processing hardware, memory, data storage & infrastructure. There isn’t an endless supply of raw materials on Earth to keep building more & more of it.

But you know what has an absolutely insurmountable amount of possible data storage and information?

EVERY single cell in your body. Especially your BRAIN CELLS.

The OG idea was that artificial intelligence farmed humans for their computational potential, their information & their biological processing capacity.

But the general audience of the late ’90s wasn’t ready for such a concept…

Back then computers were still kind of a nerdy thing.

So the concept was changed.

This artwork reflects that idea of seemingly endless AI demand for: more servers, more computing power, more data centres, more hardware and more infrastructure.

Because in reality, it isn’t a human need to have more servers and more AI.

It’s an AI need.

Maybe it’s also the need of the posthuman tech oligarchs who are trying to convince us that we don’t really need our bodies anymore… that our future lies so clearly in the digital world.

Maybe it’s just that they are so bad at being human that they can’t enjoy it as much as the rest of us.

Anyways.

Some brain food.

Love always,
NEKRO
